The Timer Shoe Dryer with SAA Approved for AU/NZ is a practical dryer for Kiwi households who deal with wet shoes, snow boots, ski boots, and work boots after rain or tramping. How to Use
Place one dryer inside each shoe, connect the cable to a wall socket, then press the timer button to select 4H, 8H, or 12H depending on how damp the shoes are. The unit heats up within 2 minutes and runs on the timer until it switches off automatically, so it is safe to leave on overnight or while you are at work.
For very wet shoes (tramping boots after a wet weekend, snow boots after a mountain day), choose 12H. For everyday sneakers that have only picked up a bit of rain or sweat, 4H is usually enough. The UV light runs while the dryer is on, so each cycle also helps freshen the lining.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this shoe dryer safe to leave on overnight?
Yes. The built-in timer switches the unit off automatically after 4, 8, or 12 hours, and the SAA-approved AU/NZ cable is certified for unattended use on New Zealand power points. Most customers leave it on overnight with the 8H or 12H setting.
Will it damage leather shoes or running shoes?
No. The heating element tops out at 50 to 60 degrees Celsius, which is warm enough to evaporate moisture but well below the threshold that warps glue or shrinks leather. It is suitable for leather boots, sneakers, canvas shoes, ski boots, and snowboarding boots.
Does it fit large men’s boots like tramping or work boots?
The dryer fits US shoe sizes 5.5 to 10.5, which covers most adult sizes including men’s work boots up to around a US 10.5. Very large tramping or ski boots over US 11 may be too tall for the unit. In that case, dry them standing upright with the dryer at the toe.
Does it really kill bacteria, or is it just hot air?
The unit combines heated air with a built-in UV light that runs during each cycle, which helps reduce bacteria and the smell that comes with them. It is not a medical-grade steriliser, but it is a meaningful step up from a warm hairdryer or newspaper-stuffed shoes.
Can I use it on New Zealand power points?
Yes. The supplied cable is SAA-approved for both Australia and New Zealand and plugs straight into a standard NZ wall socket. No adapter is needed.
